What does Female Empowerment mean to you ?
​
To me , female empowerment is the moment that my voice is heard and acted upon. Its about being given something that was once denied to you or womenkind in the past. It's also the times when I feel comfortable to be a woman; putting on any make-up I choose , going swimming , walking in the woods in my big dirty boots. Empowerment is a way to take control and I believe female empowerment is best felt and shown not only when you have authority in a group ( usually a male group) but also when you are comfortable and confident in yourself .

Emma Watson : She has shown how amazing and multi-talented women can be, from beginning as a child actress, to now being the UN woman Goodwill Ambassador.

I listened to this song when I was little and as my guilty pleasure throughout life- but the message of the song isnt really a secret and it always makes me feel great.

With this song, its a bit weird. I feel this song is quite sexy and so I feel sexy when I listen to it- so if I ever play it to someone in that way I feel very empowered sexually but also as a woman

What does Female Empowerment mean to you ?
Empowerment is about raising other women up. Its nothing to do with men. Its not about lifting women up to be as good as a man its raising women up in general. Like in my pole dancing class its about raising other women up and praising them for the move they have made. It can also be about in a work place, raising women up by making thier voice heard just as much as a man saying it louder. Its about women feeling like they are heard. We have spent years being told our voice isnt good enough because we were women. But the whole time we have been good enough.

Wonder Woman:I only started getting to know her after the recemt film. I loved it because she was confident in herself and that she could do anything. This is partly because she was raised by women who told her she could, or if not you can train to do it, it will never be impossible. I like that tribal feel of rasing eachother. She is also there to lift people up. It doesnt matter who you are , she is there to support you. I think everyone has that thing about wanting to be a superhero but she is so bad ass ! she is so physically strong. It made me want to be her.

What does Female Empowerment mean to you ?
Female empowerment to me is being a mother. The ability to be able to create life through my own body is truly amazing.
Being a mother gives me such an incredible feeling of empowerment. To watch my body change in so many ways to accommodate 2 humans. I often see unrealistic perceptions of motherhood and postpartum bodies. Females have so much pressure put on them to be perfect after birth and the reality is that no matter how your body looks, no matter what negative insults are thrown your way, our bodies are perfect because they created something perfect! For me, going through pregnancy and motherhood is the most empowering thing I have ever experienced

Jada Pinkett Smith. She said an amazing quote, ‘We all think there is a formula, but as long as we love our children, that's really the only solid thing I know that works across the board’ which really touched me as loving my children is the most important thing I will ever do.
